Check out some of the fantastic reports we have received from OFSTED and CReSTeD.

Commission for Social Care Inspection.

The Commission for Social Care inspection took place in January 2007.

Quote from The Commission for Social Care
"The relationships between all staff and boarders are based upon mutual respect and trust and there is a communal approach to one another regardless of their position in the school. All of the boarders spoken with considered that they had developed in confidence and their academic achievements had also increased since attending the school.

The inspectors observed young people to be having fun during their free time and were well behaved. All of the boarding houses were comfortable with homely atmospheres that were appreciated by the boarders."

Quote from OFSTED
"Edington and
Shapwick School is a very effective and successful school. The pupils make good progress both academically and socially as a result of very good quality teaching and a very good, well planned and flexible curriculum which is specifically designed to meet the particular needs of the pupils. Good quality residential provision is made for those pupils who board on a weekly or termly basis, usually because their homes are too far away to allow daily travel.”
