GREEN FAIR is taking place on Saturday, 1 March 2008 – SHAPWICK

Green Fair is intended to:
•    Illustrate how individuals and communities can bring change to household and village or town environments
•    Highlight potential ways to save money through sustainable thinking and action

Specialist companies and organisations will provide displays, offer advice and answer your questions on a wide range of issues such as:
•    Renewable energy
•    Energy efficiency
•    Waste
•    Construction and housing
•    Food and drink
•    Environment
•    Transport
•    Ethical shopping
•    Water
•    Wildlife

This free event is open to everyone and there is something for all to see and do, children included.  Indeed, some local schools will be displaying the work that they have been doing.  Do come along to find out how you can save money, enjoy the experience and do some good work to reduce global warming without affecting your lifestyle.

We are very grateful to Edington and Shapwick School for hosting the Green Fair.  Parking is available in the Sports Field opposite the School in Station Road, Shapwick.

We look forward to welcoming you to the exhibition.
