Pupils from Edington & Shapwick School celebrated an impressive result (12 – 4) in the first game of the season against Ashcott Table Tennis Club.

Pupils from Edington & Shapwick School celebrated an impressive result (12 – 4) in the first game of the season against Ashcott Table Tennis Club on the 19th November.
A team of eight boys were selected from Years 9, 10 and 11 to represent the school, and are looking forward to the next fixture.
Mr Harrison from the school was delighted with the overall performance, and commented “Despite the match score suggesting a comfortable win for Edington & Shapwick, the game scores were very close. Everyone managed to score at least one point which was brilliant”.
A special mention must go to Evan Jones who stepped in at the last minute to play for Ashcott when one of their team couldn’t make it.
